The Advisor Education Programme was fully funded by the GST Startup Assistance Office, and designed for advisers to small business and the community and education sectors. Those who most benefited were people who commonly provide free advice as part of a wider advisory role or in a non-professional capacity, and had a limited background in tax and accounting.
